A is for... a funny dog

I was running out of ideas for daily blog posts when inspiration struck: the alphabet! That'll give me 26 blog posts and added to the last week, it will mean I've completed another one of my 101 in 1001 goals.

So A is for... A funny dog. I found this little scoundrel sitting in my trough - luckily I haven't planted anything in it yet although it is earmarked for some seeds - probably beetroot and chantenay carrots.

He was enjoying sunbathing so I let him be. He has form for sitting in plant pots - seems to be one of his little doggy quirks.

Toby's got talent

Well I think so anyway:

That's my lovely fiancé you can hear & see in the video and me giggling at the end!

He's such a trainable little dog and super cute as well.

I'll be back soon with a longer post hopefully, I've been a bit slack at blogging lately.

I'm back...

but this will still be a heavy on photos post rather than text as my arm isn't quite right and I've an essay to finish that I really can't fill with pretty photos instead of words!

Since I was last here:

* we got to the colour choosing stage in our bedroom, so I put together this little mood board to give us ideas...

* we paid the deposit for our wedding so it's all confirmed :)
* we had Toby's family to stay, don't they look innocent:
Yeah well they had us up at 5.30am with their barking! I'm sure Toby encourages them to get in trouble.
* I was so bored when I was off work for a week, I took all my cooking magazines and cut out recipes I liked and put them in a binder. That's bored for you but pretty useful I guess!
* I bought these trousers, this wallet, these brooches, these smellies.

and that will do for now as I've really got to get on with my assignment. I only have a few weeks left of my 4th year of my part time degree which is pretty scary as I have loads of work to do in that time. But it also means I only have a year to go which is exciting- I can't wait to have my evenings back! When I started the degree, I was really in to IT. Now, not so much. But I still want to finish it as it's a personal goal of mine to get a degree. And once it's done, I can decide what I want to do next!

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

Catching up..

This is going to be a bit of a random, catching up kinda post with no particular message!

  1. You can now see Paper and Cloth on Trunkt, I got accepted at the weekend and I was very excited!

  2. I put up a new mood board on the Crafty Bride yesterday based on our venue (which we'll be getting married at in one year, five months, two weeks and four days time).

  3. I started paying a bit of attention to my long neglected mintd shop. Only one item in there at the moment but there will be more soon hopefully. I need to do some work on the banner and avatar at some point (that goes for my blogs and etsy shop too!)

  4. I have the cutest dog in the world.
  5. I'm now a member of the Etsy Weddings Street Team.

  6. I restarted that sketchbook class that I enrolled on ages ago. Changed direction a bit and I am now looking at items found in the home rather than architecture. The theme then led naturally to buttons and haberdashery!

No blog post is complete without a photo, so here's that Toby photo again!

How is it Friday already?

The week has flown by so far and almost before I knew it, it's Friday. This week has involved a couple of trips to the vet. Nothing to worry about, it was a planned operation as we needed to have Toby castrated. Poor little man! Whilst he was there he also had some baby teeth taken out, was ID chipped and had his dew claws removed from his back legs.

Toby post op

Look at the poor love, he is much perkier today, that photo was taken only a few hours after coming home from the operation so he was still sleepy from the anaesthetic.

I have made quite a few things this week but haven't had time to take any photos yet. I'm doing my first ever craft fair in just a couple of weeks now so I really need to get a move on with making some things including more tissue holders, Christmas decorations and cards.

Anyway, I'll try to catch up more at the weekend and show you some photos.

And before I forget, I've done the draw for the "What do you collect?" post. The winner is number 2- Charlotte! So I'll be in touch soon lovely for your address. x

Day 9- yet more crochet and new wool

More crochet and new wool!

Day 10- Christmas cards in progress

Christmas cards in progress

And here are the Yorkie puppies that are currently staying with us...

Sorry, you'll have to tilt your head on the side, don't know how to rotate videos!
Our Toby is the one with the curly tail, the other two are his sisters.

Hope you're all having good weeks so far, nearly half way! x

Oh dear...

I have rather been abandoning both my blog and my crafting! I was away with work most of last week so didn't have much spare time at all. So the Crafting 365 has rather gone by the wayside I'm afraid. I have made some cards though so will take photos soon I promise!

In the meantime here's a funny picture of Toby for you all...

Thank you :)

Thank you for the lovely feedback on my print both here and on flickr, it means a lot to me.

That was all I wanted to say!

Toby says thanks too...

Toby

I'll be back soon.

P.S. I'm selling off all my jewellery and accessories at buy one get one half price. See the section in my etsy shop here. I'm making room for more stationery and art instead of jewellery.

A quick round-up of my latest news...

So the bra contest has come to an end. I hope you all enjoyed designing, making and voting and will join in next time I have a contest!

I have lots of news to share with you all- a new family member, new flowers in the garden, a new gadget and new work.

First up, let me introduce you to my new puppy, Toby. Toby is a 12 week old Yorkshire Terrier and is very very cute!

I love him! He's only been with us a few days but he's already part of the family.

Our garden is looking very colourful now, here are just a few of the pretty flowers:

My Print Gocco arrived last week- it's great fun! I did a review/tutorial of it over on Craft Tutorials so take a look over there to find out more.

This is a set of cards I made with it, I sold one set today but will be re-listing another set soon in my shop.
