Thoughts on marriage

So I'm quite new to this marriage lark (a month tomorrow) but so far it seems pretty similar to life before marriage. We have lived together for over four years so nothing is different there. We're still as in love as ever. But something is different - the thrill that I get when I see my new name or when I catch a glimpse of metal on his left hand. And the total happiness and contentedness I feel.
Of course it's early days and I don't expect to still smile when I see my name in 10 years time - I'll probably be over that little excitement by then.
So tell me, what's your favourite thing about marriage?

Eleven years on and I still feel like I married my best friend. We know when to leave the other alone (that took a few years to suss!) and when to be there for each other. We've walked a hard path together, but my lovely man has been there every single step of the way.
He makes me complete and the thing that I love the best about being married is still feeling a flush of pleasure when he holds my hand.

When I married OH I didn't think I could love him anymore than I did, but 2 years on and 8 years together we've grown even closer. He's my best friend, my everything and we are perfectly intuned with each other. I still smile when I realise he's my husband.

...I'm a soppy so and so!

Well of course my other half is my fave thing about marriage. After 30 years still having him by my side as my best friend.
